Sri Paariyur Amman Hollow Bricks

We are located at 8/229 in Gobichettipalayam, right by the Peruma Palayam bus stop. It’s easy to find because we are almost next door to the veterinary hospital. People waiting for their buses often watch us working with the machines. Unlike the traditional red bricks, we focus on making hollow bricks here at Sri Paariyur Amman. It’s a different process that involves more cement and vibration machines. The noise can be a bit loud during the day, but that’s just the sound of work being done. We have a small crew of guys from the local area who know the equipment well. We’ve been here for a good while, and most people in the neighborhood recognize us. The yard is usually full of grey stacks waiting to cure. It’s a dusty place, especially when the wind blows from the road. We don't have any big marketing plans or a sales team. We just open the gates in the morning and see who comes by. Sometimes farmers from the nearby villages stop in while they are at the vet hospital. We chat about the crops and the rain while they look at our stock. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We just keep making the blocks and loading them onto the trailers day after day. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, but we are used to it by now.
