We are based at 10B, Vettukattu Pudur in Gnanipalayam Post. It’s a small place in Vellode, out in the Erode district. Aadavan Farmer Producer Company Limited was set up to help the folks around here who are growing things. Erode is known for its agriculture, and we are right in the middle of it. The office is pretty basic, just what we need to get the paperwork done and talk to the farmers. Being in Vettukattu Pudur means we are close to the actual farms, which is how we like it. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone in suits. It’s just us in our regular clothes, dealing with the realities of the weather and the market. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and wait, or we keep working by the light from the door. Gnanipalayam is a quiet area mostly, and that suits the way we work. We handle the needs of the farmers who are part of our company, trying to make sure everyone is moving in the right direction.
