We are based in a part of the country where farming is the main thing people know. The office is really just a simple room where we keep the ledgers and take phone calls from suppliers. Outside, there is usually something happening with the land or the different crops we are managing. We aren't trying to act like a huge company; we just focus on the agricultural side of things and try to keep everything running. The building is basic, and we spend a lot of time walking between the office and the different sections of the farm. You will often see mud on the floor because we are always coming and going from the fields. It isn't the cleanest office you’ve ever seen, but it’s where the work happens. We have to deal with the seasons, which means some months are just non-stop work and others are a bit quieter. We talk to our neighbors about how the rain is looking and how the soil is doing this year. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby with chairs. If you show up, you’ll probably find one of us at a desk or out back checking the stock. It’s honest work and we like it.
