Periyar Chemicals Ltd.

Periyar Chemicals Ltd. is based in Chakos Towers. You can find us on Padma Pullepady Road. We have an office there, and our post box is 3657. It is right in the middle of things, so the traffic outside is almost always heavy. We hear the honking from the street all day long while we sit at our desks. We deal with chemical supplies, which means a lot of technical names and safety sheets. It’s mostly paperwork and phone calls for us in this office. We don't have any big laboratory here or anything. It's just the business side of things. The elevator in the building is a bit slow, so most of us just take the stairs if we aren't carrying anything heavy. We have a few windows that look out over the road, but the view is mostly just other buildings and cars. For lunch, we usually go to one of the small places nearby or bring something from home. It's a professional environment but we don't take ourselves too seriously. We just make sure the orders are correct and that the customers get what they asked for. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in so we can get back to work on the computers. It’s just a standard office job in a busy part of the city. We keep the files organized and keep things moving.
