We are Sls Exports Pvt. Ltd, and our office is F-117 in Pioneer Towers. It’s located right on No. 1, Marine Drive. Having an address on Marine Drive sounds a bit more prestigious than it feels when you’re actually inside working. Most of the time we are just staring at screens or talking to people about logistics. The view outside is nice when we actually have a second to look at it, but usually, we are too buried in export documents. It’s a lot of back and forth with customs and shipping agents. The building has a lot of other businesses too, so the elevators are always full of people. We try to keep things simple here. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. It's just a few of us making sure the goods get moved properly. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is pending, and the city lights are pretty then. We’ve had this office for a while and it’s become like a second home. The carpets are a bit worn and the tea lady knows exactly how we like our drinks. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks. Exporting is a tough game with lots of rules, so we just try to stay organized and avoid mistakes. It’s a practical way to earn a living in a busy city like this one. We stay out of the spotlight and just do our work. It keeps us busy enough.
