Kuruvilla And Sons

Our shop is on the ground floor of Kattikaran Chambers. We are right there at Kombara Jn, on the Old Railway Station Road. It’s a family business at Kuruvilla And Sons, started by my father, and now we all just pitch in to keep it running. The building is older, and you can tell by the walls, but it’s a solid place to work from. We deal with a lot of different things throughout the day. It’s mostly regular customers who have been coming to us for years. The area around the old station stays pretty active. We spend a lot of time moving stock around and answering the phone. It gets a bit dusty with all the papers and boxes, but we know where everything is. We don't have a big fancy sign or a modern lobby. You just walk in and talk to whoever is behind the desk. Sometimes it’s me, sometimes it’s one of my brothers. We keep fairly standard hours, though we might close a bit early if there’s a family thing going on. Being at Kombara Jn means we see a lot of the local traffic. It’s a practical way to spend the day. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to do a decent job for the people who come in. It’s how we’ve always done it here at the chambers.
