Kancor Ingredients Ltd

Down in Thrikkakara, right on the Seaport-Airport Road, stands Kancor House. That is where we spend our days at Kancor Ingredients Ltd. Being situated at 814/C means we are right in the thick of the transport route, which makes sense for what we do with ingredients. The road outside is always busy with big lorries and people heading toward the airport or the docks. Inside the building, it’s a bit quieter, though not by much. We are a team that looks after all sorts of extracts and natural things that go into products people use every day. We don't talk about ourselves like we’re some huge corporate entity, even if the building is named Kancor House. To us, it’s just the place where we work. We have people who have been here for years, and they know every corner of this facility. The atmosphere is pretty steady. There is always a faint smell of something herbal or spicy in the air, which I guess is better than a lot of other offices. We have our routines, our morning meetings that sometimes run too long, and our lunch breaks where we talk about everything except work. Thrikkakara is a growing area, so we’ve seen a lot of changes around the Seaport-Airport Road over the years. New buildings go up, but we are still here, doing the same practical work we’ve always done. It is just the way we like to operate.
