Our place is located right on Kochupally Road over in Thoppumpady. If you know the area at all, you know it's pretty much all about the water and the boats around here. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a long time. It’s a bit of a crowded street sometimes, especially when the fishing boats are active or when there's a lot of traffic heading toward the harbor. We don't have a big flashy storefront or anything like that. It’s just a regular building where we handle our daily business. Inside, it’s mostly stacks of paperwork, some spare parts, and the sound of the ceiling fans going all day. We spend a lot of time on the phone with folks from the docks or people looking for specific marine bits. Usually, someone is making tea in the back while the rest of us try to keep track of the orders coming in. It gets noisy with the trucks passing by outside, but we’re used to it. We aren't trying to be anything big or corporate. We just know the locals and the people who work the sea. Sometimes a neighbor stops by just to chat for a minute before heading back to the boats. It’s a decent way to spend the day. We keep the doors open and just deal with whatever the tide brings in, figuratively speaking. There isn't much more to it than that. We just work.
