School Of Retail Management

We’ve been running the School Of Retail Management for quite a while now at G-129 on Shopping Cplx Road. Panampilly Nagar is a pretty busy spot, which actually makes a lot of sense for a place like ours. Most of what we do involves teaching people how shops actually work from the inside. It’s definitely not just about sitting at a desk and reading books all day. We spend a lot of time talking about inventory, dealing with customers who might be having a bad day, and making sure the shelves look right. These are the kinds of things they don't always tell you in those big, expensive textbooks. A lot of folks come through here looking to get a job in one of the malls or local stores around the city. We just show them the ropes. The office isn't anything fancy, just a regular space where we get the daily work done. It gets pretty loud outside sometimes with all the traffic coming through the complex. We try to keep things simple and direct for everyone. If you walk past the shopping complex, you'll see where we are. We've got some desks, a few computers, and people who know the retail business well enough to explain it to someone else. It's practical work. We don't really do the whole corporate speech thing here. It’s just about getting the skills needed to run a floor or manage a stockroom without making a mess.
