Sree Sankara Vidyapeetom College

This college is situated in Valayanchirangara, which is near Perumbavoor in the Ernakulam district of Kerala. The surroundings are quite green, which is typical for this part of the country. It is a bit of a distance from the main city of Kochi, so it has a more rural and quiet feel to it. The campus is spread out with several different buildings for various subjects. We have been here for many years, and the college has become a fixture in the local community. Students come from all over the Ernakulam area, many of them taking the local buses that stop nearby. The air is fresh, but it rains a lot here, especially during the monsoon months when everything gets very damp and green. The classrooms are basic, with wooden benches and old fans that hum while the lectures are going on. We have a small canteen where students go to get tea and snacks like banana fritters. It is not a modern campus with glass buildings; instead, it is made of older stone and concrete structures that have been painted many times. Most of the staff are people from the nearby villages who have been with the college for a long time. We follow a steady pace of life here. The office is usually busy with students trying to get their hall tickets or check their results on the notice board. It is just a plain, traditional college where people come to get their degrees.
