Lourdes College Of Nursing-Sidhi Sadan

Lourdes College Of Nursing-Sidhi Sadan is over in Chembumukku, which is in the Thrikkakara area of Ernakulam. It’s a busy part of Kerala, and the college sits right in the thick of it. Most people around here know the Sidhi Sadan building. We have students who come here from all over the state to learn nursing. You’ll see them in their white uniforms, heading to classes or getting ready for their practical sessions. The building itself has several floors and the labs are usually full of students practicing their skills. It smells a bit like antiseptic sometimes, which I guess is normal for a nursing college. We have a library where it’s actually quiet, which is a nice change from the noise of the Ernakulam traffic outside. The staff in the office are always busy with paperwork, especially during exam season or when new admissions are happening. We don't really do anything fancy; we just focus on the training. The students spend a lot of time on their feet. There’s a canteen nearby where they grab tea and snacks between their shifts. It’s a lot of hard work for them, but they seem to handle it. The atmosphere is serious because of the subject, but the students still find time to chat in the hallways. It’s just a regular, busy college helping people get their nursing degrees in Kerala without any extra polish.
