It’s a small place where we spend a lot of time making and packing things by hand. We focus on stuff that’s grown naturally and made the old-fashioned way. Most of the recipes we use have been around for a long time. It’s not a big factory with assembly lines. Instead, it’s just a few of us in a kitchen-like setting, stirring pots and sealing jars. Because we do so much by hand, it takes a while, and sometimes we run out of things if the ingredients aren't in season. We don’t mind that because it’s how real food works. The neighborhood in Thevara is pretty busy, but our little corner stays focused on the work. Sometimes it smells like spices or dried fruit around here, depending on what we are making that day. We aren't marketing experts or big business people. We are just folks who like making things that taste like home. We write the labels ourselves and keep track of everything in simple notebooks. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but it’s real. We like knowing exactly what goes into every bottle or bag we sell. It is a lot of work but it feels right to do it this way. Every batch is a little bit different.
