Realearth Ecofarms India Private Limited

We are based out of Kalamassery, specifically at Kummencherry Plaza in room 24/563-A1. It is a bit of a climb if you are coming by foot, but the location works for what we do. Mostly, we spend our days dealing with the logistics of the farm and making sure the supplies are where they need to be. There are four or five of us usually in the office at any given time, unless it is planting season, then everyone is out. We don’t have much in the way of fancy decorations, just some old calendars and stacks of papers related to the land. Farming in India is a tough business and we know that as well as anyone. We try to keep our feet on the ground. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back. That is just how it is here. Realearth Ecofarms is really just a bunch of people who care about the dirt. We grew up around here and wanted to see if we could make a living doing something that felt right. The Plaza is a landmark for most folks in the area, so it’s easy to find us. We don't really have a big sales pitch. We just get the work done and hope the weather treats the crops well this year. It's a long day usually, starting early and finishing when the sun is well down. We’ve been here for a few years and plan to stay for many more.
