Radha Jutes

We’ve been here at V1/93 in Jew Town for quite some time now. If you walk past our place, you’ll usually smell the raw jute and see some of us moving bundles around. It’s a busy spot. We mostly deal with all sorts of jute items. The space is a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand, but we know where everything is. My father started this a long way back, and now a few of us keep the wheels turning. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a solid workspace where we spend most of our daylight hours. Sometimes the tourists stop by and peek in, which is fine, but we are usually focused on the orders coming in. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the fibers because jute can be tricky depending on the season. The weather here in the town affects the material, so we have to be careful. Most days it’s just the sound of the fans and the heavy lifting. We don’t have a big marketing team or a shiny website. It’s just us doing what we know. If someone needs jute, they usually find their way to our door in Jew Town. It gets dusty, and the work is physical, but it keeps us busy. We try to get things out the door as fast as we can without making mistakes.
