Prayaga College is located in Nayarambalam, which is part of the Vypin area near Alangad. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but it’s a good spot for a school. The building is simple, nothing like the big glass universities you see in the city. We have classrooms with basic desks and boards where the teaching happens. Most of the time, you can hear the sound of the wind or the local traffic because we aren't in a soundproof block. The staff room is usually a bit of a mess with books and half-finished cups of tea. We don't have a big fancy gate or a massive fountain out front. It’s just a place where students from around Vypin come to learn. We spend our days following the schedule, ringing the bells, and making sure the rooms are ready for the next group. It’s a local college, so everyone kind of knows everyone else. Sometimes we have to deal with the humidity coming off the water nearby, which isn't great for the paper in the office. We don't spend money on big ads. We just focus on the classes we have and the students who show up every morning. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment. Most of us have been here for years, and we’re just used to the way things work in Nayarambalam. It’s a quiet life of teaching and helping the younger ones get through their exams.
