Perumbavoor Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are located right by the Office of the Assistant Director of Agriculture in Perumbavoor. It’s a busy little spot in the Kuruppampady area, and having the agriculture office so close definitely makes things easier when we have to sort out permits or get advice. We are a producer company, which basically means we are a bunch of farmers from around Perumbavoor trying to work together instead of doing everything alone. It gets pretty loud in the office sometimes when everyone shows up at once to talk about the harvest or the prices for the month. The building isn't much to look at, just a practical space where we can sit down and get the books in order. We spend most of our mornings out on the farms and then head over to the Kuruppampady office once the sun gets too high. It’s hard work, and there are always problems with the tractors or the water supply, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters for us. Most of our communication is just talking to people face to face or over the phone. We’ve been part of this community for a long time, so everyone knows where to find us. It’s just us farmers trying to make a living and keep the land productive. Some days are better than others, but we keep showing up and doing the work as best as we can.
