Peejay Farms Private Limited

We are located at Door No. XII/600 in the Aloor Panchayat area. If you are sending mail, it goes to the Thazhekkad post office. This is deep in Thrissur and it’s a very quiet place most of the time. Peejay Farms is where we spend all our hours. It is a family-type atmosphere here, even if the paperwork says it is a private limited company. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. We just know about the land and what it needs. Every morning starts pretty early before the heat gets too bad. We have a lot of space to look after and it takes a lot of walking. Sometimes the machinery acts up and we have to spend half the day fixing a tractor or a pump. That’s just part of the routine. The people in Aloor are good neighbors and we all kind of look out for each other. We grow what we can and try to keep the costs down. It’s a lot of physical labor, and your back definitely feels it by Saturday. We don't spend much time in an office. We’d rather be outside seeing how the plants are doing. It’s a practical life. We deal with the bugs, the rain, and the markets just like everyone else around here. It isn't glamorous but it is what we know how to do.
