Metro Trading Syndicate

Metro Trading Syndicate operates mostly through Post Box No. 197. It sounds old-fashioned but it works for us. We’ve had that same box number for a long time. Every couple of days someone goes down to check what has come in the mail. It's a bit of a ritual really. We deal with a lot of paperwork and different suppliers through that address. The name Metro Trading Syndicate makes it sound bigger than it is but we are just a small group of people trying to keep things moving. We don't have a big storefront where people walk in off the street. Most of our life happens through letters and orders that arrive in that post box. It’s quiet work. Sometimes the mail is late or things get mixed up but we sort it out eventually. We started out with just a few items and it grew from there. There isn't much to say about a post box except it's reliable. We keep our records in order and make sure everything gets sent out to the right place. It’s a simple way to run a business. We don't need a huge office in a glass tower when Post Box 197 handles the bulk of our communication. It keeps our overhead low and our lives a bit simpler. Trading can be unpredictable but having a steady point of contact like that makes a difference. We just keep going, checking the mail and filling orders day by day. It’s not very exciting but it’s what we do.
