J. F. K. Intl.

Our address is just a Post Box over on Wellingdon Island, which sounds a bit strange if you are used to big office buildings with glass fronts. But J. F. K. Intl. is really just centered around that spot. Wellingdon Island is a quiet part of the city compared to the mainland, with all the shipping activity and the harbor nearby. We spend a lot of time checking Post Box 517 to see what has come in. It is a bit of a routine for us, driving out there and seeing the ships in the distance. The air always smells a bit like salt and diesel from the boats. We don’t really have a big lobby or a front desk where people sit and wait. It is mostly about the logistics of moving things and making sure the letters and documents get where they need to go. Working out of the island area means we are away from the worst of the city traffic, which is nice. Sometimes the weather gets really heavy and the rain just pours down on the island, making everything slow to a crawl. We just keep things moving at our own pace. It is a simple way to run things, and it works for us. We don’t need much else besides that post box and a bit of space to keep our records straight. It is just a small operation that gets the job done without any fuss. We've been using that box for years now.
