You can find us at the Kaiprambatt House on Assisi Lane in Aluva. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main city roads. We deal with agro foods, which means we spend a lot of time talking to farmers and checking on the quality of what’s coming in. The lane is narrow, so big trucks have to be careful when they turn in. We’ve been here for a good while now. It’s mostly family and a few helpers running the show. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just look at the crops and the grains and see what's good for the market. Some days are slow, especially when the weather isn't helping the harvests. Other days, we’re running around trying to get everything loaded before the rain starts. It’s a simple setup. We keep the books in the front room and the storage in the back. Aluva is a good place for this kind of work because we're close enough to the growers. We don’t make big promises, we just try to get the food where it needs to go. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up, but we catch up eventually. It’s just how a small business goes. We’re just regular people trying to make a living in the food trade and staying honest about it. It keeps us on our toes and the days go by pretty fast.
