Down in Aluva, specifically in the Desom area near Kumumpuram, you will find Home Gallery. We have been sitting here in this spot for a while, surrounded by the local houses and shops. It is a quiet enough place compared to the main city. We mostly deal with things people need for their houses. It might be a new chair or some small bit of decor that catches someone's eye. The shop isn't massive but we try to fit in what we can without making it too crowded for people to walk through. Some days it is just us waiting for someone to drop by and have a look around at what is new. We talk to the neighbors and the people walking to the Ho. It's a very local way of doing things. We don't have any complicated systems or fancy screens. We just show people what we have in stock and tell them how it works. Sometimes the rain gets quite heavy and we have to move things away from the door so they don't get wet. It is just a regular shop run by regular people. We like being in this part of Aluva. It feels like home to us. If you are ever near Kumumpuram, you might see our sign. We are usually just inside, rearranging the shelves or checking the inventory. It's not a fast-paced life, but it suits us just fine.
