It is a quiet part of the world, which is good for the animals. We have been working with dairy for a while, and it keeps us busy from very early in the morning until late at night. Cows don’t really take days off, so neither do we. It’s an integrated farm, which means we try to make everything work together, like using the waste for the plants and things like that. It’s just practical. We aren't a massive factory. We are just local people running a farm that we care about. Sometimes the machinery acts up or the weather gets too hot, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. It's a lot of mud and hard work, but we like being outside. Being based in Pazhoor gives us enough space to breathe and do our work without too much noise from the city. We focus on the daily chores and making sure the dairy side of things stays clean and efficient. It’s a simple life but a busy one. There’s always a fence to mend or a cow that needs looking after. We just take it one day at a time here at the house.
