Out in Karukutty Village, things are a bit more relaxed than in the middle of the city. That’s where you’ll find H2O Farmers Market Private Limited. We are based in Kalaparambath House in the Paduvapuram area of Ernakulam. It’s a local spot, and we like it that way. We aren't some massive supermarket chain. We are more about the connection between the farmers and the market. Our building is just a regular house that we use for the business operations. It’s simple and it works for what we need. We spend our time coordinating between different growers and making sure things are moving the way they should. There’s a lot of back-and-forth, as you can imagine with farm products. Sometimes the crates are heavy and the days are long, but that’s just the nature of the work. We’ve been part of this community for a while, and people around Paduvapuram know who we are. We don't put on any airs or graces. If you came by, you’d probably just see us working through piles of notes or talking on the phone to suppliers. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We aren't interested in being corporate. We just want to help get the produce from the fields to where it needs to go, using our little base here in Karukutty as the hub.
