We have our main base at No. 16 inside the Kinfra Hi-Tech Park, specifically within the Bio-Tech Zone. This is located in the HMT Colony of Kanayannur, in Ernakulam. Being inside a big tech park like Kinfra makes things look a little official from the outside, but we are really just a group of people who care about farming. Our name is Green Leads Farmers Producer Company Limited. We spend plenty of time in this office, but our actual work takes us all over the district to meet with various people. It is a strange mix of thinking about science and having real dirt under your fingernails. The park itself is usually pretty quiet compared to the main city streets, which helps us focus on our tasks. We try to lead the way with better farming methods, but it is rarely as simple as the books make it seem. We deal with actual farmers who have real-life problems that need solving right now. Our team is not very big, and we often have to do many different jobs at the same time. Whether we are trying to sort out how to move goods or discussing how bio-tech can help a specific crop, we just keep moving forward. The address might sound a bit fancy to some, but inside it is just us with a few computers and some passion. We chose this spot to be close to better resources for our members in the Kanayannur area.
