Cityfarming Technologies Llp is based in a bit of an unusual spot for a farm company. We are in Flat No. 16E at Abad Olympus, which is an apartment building on Raghavan Pillai Road in Edappally. Our address is 35/1385, or 49/1613 S4 depending on which paperwork you are looking at. Being up in a flat means we don't have fields right outside our door. Instead, we spend our time working on the technology side of farming. We have a lot of gadgets and bits of equipment scattered around the living area which we've turned into an office. It is a bit tight sometimes, especially when we are testing something new. From the balcony, you can see the city stretching out, and it reminds us why we are trying to bring farming into urban spaces. We aren't a big corporate office with a lobby. If you come by, you are basically coming into our workspace. There is usually a pot of coffee going and someone staring at a screen or a circuit board. We don't use much marketing talk because we are mostly just focused on the tech. It is a lot of trial and error. Sometimes things don't work the first time, and we have to start over. That is just part of it. We are just a few people in a high-rise trying to figure out how to grow things in small city spaces.
