Bell Foods (Marine Division)

Bell Foods has its Marine Division located over on Pallichal Road, specifically at 18/1553. We are right in an area that stays busy from dawn until dusk. Working with marine products means we are always dealing with the rhythm of the sea. Our part of the building is where we handle all the processing and getting the goods ready for the market. It’s a noisy place with the sounds of machinery and people moving crates around. The floors are usually wet, so we all wear our heavy-duty boots all day long. We aren't a big corporate office with people in suits. We are a group of regular people who don't mind getting our hands dirty to get the job done. We don't have long meetings or big presentations. Instead, we just talk to each other while we work to make sure everything is being handled right. It’s a lot of physical labor, sorting through the catch and making sure everything stays at the right temperature. Sometimes the supply is low and things are quiet, but other days we are working flat out just to keep up. We’ve been on Pallichal Road for a long time and we’ve become a fixture in the neighborhood. It’s a tough business sometimes, but it’s what we know and we just keep moving forward every day. It’s just how the marine business works.
