Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham

We are located over in Edalally North, out in Kochi. It’s a big place with a lot going on every single day. Walking through the campus, you’ll see students heading to different labs or sitting under the trees with their notes. It’s a busy environment, but it feels fairly quiet compared to the middle of the city. We have different departments covering a whole range of subjects, from science to the arts. There’s always some kind of event or a seminar happening in one of the halls. The buildings are spread out a bit, so there is plenty of walking involved if you need to go from one side to the other. We’ve been here for a while now, and the trees have grown quite tall since the early days. It’s just a place where learning happens. We don't go in for big, flashy displays. The labs have the equipment needed, and the library stays pretty full during exam times. People come here from different parts of the country to study. We see a lot of faces come and go every year. The staff mostly keeps to themselves, making sure the schedules are followed and the grounds are kept up. It's a solid, functional campus in Kochi where the main focus is just getting through the curriculum and helping students finish their degrees. We don't complicate things with extra talk; we just focus on the books and the classes every day.
