It’s a small operation, mostly focused on the marketing side of things for local produce. We don't have a big fancy storefront. It’s just an office where we keep track of who is growing what and where it needs to go next. Mezhuvely is a quiet enough place, and we like it that way. Most of the work involves talking on the phone or meeting people at their farms to see what they’ve got ready for the market. Marketing isn't always easy when you're dealing with perishables and changing prices, so there is always some stress involved. We try to keep things simple and honest. The building itself is just a regular local spot, nothing too modern. We have some desks, a few chairs for visitors, and a lot of logbooks. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out, but that’s just life here. We aren't looking to become a giant corporation. We just want to make sure the agro products from this area get sold at a decent price so everyone can keep their farms running.
