We are located at 3-93, Sr No 37/3 in Sarpavaram. It is a group of us farmers who decided to come together under this name. Being in the Godavari region, we have a lot of history with the land, but things are always changing. We started this because it felt right for the local people to have their own way of doing things. Sarpavaram is a decent place to be based. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a door and some desks where we sort out the business side of the farm. Most of the time, we are out where the actual planting happens. It’s better that way. We talk about the seeds, the water, and who is buying what this month. Sometimes we argue about which way is better to handle a certain crop, but that’s just how it goes when everyone has their own experience. We aren't some big corporation from the city. We are just neighbors working together to try and get a better deal for everyone involved in the planting. It takes a lot of patience to wait for things to grow, and even more patience to deal with the paperwork. We keep our overheads low and our boots muddy. It is just the way we like to run things around here without any extra fuss or unnecessary talk that doesn't help the crops grow.
