Agiripalli Horticulture Farmers Producer is located at D.No. 4/75, which is right near the Gowda Bazar in Vattigudupadu. Being in Agiripalli Mandal, we are right in the heart of things here in Krishna district. We are a group of local farmers who have spent our whole lives in the dirt. We focus on horticulture because that is what grows best in this soil. We aren't a big corporation with people in fancy clothes. Most of us are wearing work clothes and have dirt under our fingernails. We have our meetings near the bazar to talk about how the plants are doing. It's not a very formal thing. We just sit and figure out how to get our fruits and plants to the buyers without losing money. The weather in Andhra Pradesh can be really tough during the summer months. The heat is heavy, but we still have to be out there checking the water. We decided to form this company to help each other out. It's easier to handle the selling part when you have a group. We don't have any big slogans or missions. We just want to grow our plants and make sure the harvest is good enough to pay the bills. It’s a lot of physical labor and early mornings. We are just regular people from the village doing what we know how to do. Every day is a little different depending on what needs to be harvested or watered. We keep at it.
