Ammapalem Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our place is located at H No 1-6/A Ammapalem Nera Ramalayamjangareddygudem, which is right near the temple. You can usually hear the bells and the activity from the road while we are sitting inside trying to get our work sorted out. Ammapalem Farmers Producer Company Limited is basically just us and our neighbors who have been farming these lands for a long time. Jangareddygudem is a busy area, and there is always something going on with the local trade, so we thought it was a good idea to have our own group to manage our produce. We are not experts at business or anything, we just know how to grow things and we know when the soil is ready. Sometimes the office gets a bit crowded when everyone comes in at once to talk about the new seeds or to complain about the pests in the fields. It is a real community thing where everyone knows each other’s business and we all try to help out when someone’s tractor breaks down or if they are short on hands during the picking season. We don't have a lot of fancy talk here, we just focus on the day-to-day tasks that keep the farm running. It is a tough life being out in the sun all day, but having the company at Ammapalem gives us a bit more strength when we go to sell what we have grown.
