We run Manasa Putrika Village Vegitable Farmers Producer Company Limited right out of Sethampeta. Our main spot is at H.No.4/365, which is in the Koyyalagudem part of West Godavari. It's a bunch of us from the village who grow vegetables and decided to join up. We aren't trying to be some big city company. We just want to get our produce to people without too much trouble. The dirt around here is good for growing, but it takes a lot of work to keep things green. Every morning we're out in the fields before the sun gets too hot. We talk about the crops, the rain, and what needs picking next. Sometimes the market prices aren't great, but we keep at it anyway. Our group is mostly neighbors who have known each other for years. We don't use fancy equipment for everything, often just doing it by hand like we always have. It’s a local effort, through and through. We just want to keep the farms going and the village busy. There’s always something to do with the plants. We don't spend much time in the office; we’re usually out where the food grows. It keeps us healthy and keeps the community fed.
