White Rose Restaurant

If you find yourself over in Sakchi near Aam Bagan, you’ve probably walked past the Taj Building. That is where we are located. It’s a busy part of Jamshedpur, and things are always moving around here. White Rose Restaurant is just a simple place we run. We started this because we wanted a spot where people could just come and eat without making a big deal out of it. Most of our days are spent getting things ready before the lunch rush hits. Plot No 30 is easy to find if you know the area. The building has been there for years. We get a lot of people who work in the nearby markets or folks just passing through Sakchi for their errands. It isn't very quiet, with all the noise from the street, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure things work. Sometimes the weather gets really dusty or rain pours down, and everyone crowds inside to wait it out. We don’t have fancy decorations or anything like that. It’s just tables, chairs, and the food we make. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but we’re still here in the same spot. It is just a regular daily routine for us, opening the shutters and getting the stove going. We just hope the food is enough to keep people coming back.
