The Woods

The Woods is out at the Golden Leaf Resort on National Highway 33 near Jamshedpur. We are situated right by the Pardih Kali Mandir, so people usually find us pretty easily when they are driving. Being on the highway means we see all sorts of people, from truck drivers to families on vacation. The place has more space than you would find in the middle of Jamshedpur city. We have some trees around and plenty of parking for anyone who needs to pull over. Running a place on the highway has its own challenges, like making sure we have enough water and power since we are a bit out of the way. We have the restaurant and some rooms where people can stay the night if they are too tired to keep driving. It is a lot of ground to cover, so we are always walking back and forth between the kitchen and the front gate. The temple nearby brings in a lot of visitors on certain days, and they often stop by to grab a bite or just to rest for a bit. We keep things simple here. The food is just regular stuff that we know people like. It is not a flashy place, just a useful stop for travelers. We have been here for a good while and it has become a regular routine for us. It’s a busy life but we enjoy being out here.
