Vedas Indian Cuisine & Lounge

We are up on the second floor of B-13 in Pandav Nagar. It’s a busy part of Delhi-110092 and we've been here at Vedas Indian Cuisine & Lounge for a bit now. The stairs can be a little tiring if you aren't used to them, but that's just how the building is. Inside, we have the kitchen going and the lounge area where people sit. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for local folks to come in and eat. We spend a lot of time in the back prepping stuff or cleaning up after the lunch rush. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, and other times it’s just the sound of pans clanking. We don't have fancy decorations everywhere, just the basics to keep the place running. People from around the neighborhood know the building. It’s a regular spot in Pandav Nagar where we do our cooking. The floor gets a bit slippery when we're busy, so we're always mopping. We've got our routine down, from opening up in the morning to locking the doors at night. The kitchen gets really hot in the evenings, so we usually have the fans on full blast. You can smell the spices from the bottom of the stairs. It’s a lot of hard work, especially on weekends when everyone wants to go out. We just keep our heads down and keep the plates moving. It’s nothing special, just a job we do to keep the business going in Pandav Nagar.
