Sky Chef Gourmet Air Catering

Sky Chef Gourmet Air Catering is tucked away at 113 Block No. 4 in Kalyan Vas. Being in Delhi 110091 puts us in a spot that’s always moving. We deal with food that goes up on planes, so things are pretty timed here. It’s not like a regular restaurant where people sit down and eat. We are mostly in the kitchen or packing things up in the back. There is a lot of checking lists and making sure the supplies are fresh. It gets hot in the kitchen, especially in the middle of summer, but that is just part of the job. We have been in this block for quite some time and most of the neighbors know what we do by the smell of the cooking in the morning. We don’t have a fancy storefront or anything to show off. It’s just a practical workspace where we get the meals ready for the flights. Sometimes the delivery vans are lined up outside and it gets a bit crowded on the street. We just try to stay organized and keep the kitchen running smooth. It’s a lot of hard work and staying on your feet all day. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to get the food where it needs to go on time and correctly. It is a noisy, busy place but we keep it clean.
