We are over here in Reddiyapatti, which is part of the Natham area in Dindigul. The name on our gate says Sirumalai Saaral Collective Farm Producer Company Limited, but that’s a real mouthful for anyone to say. Most people just find us by looking for the 3/329 address near the local roads. We started this because a lot of us nearby were farming the same way and it made sense to group up. The climate in Tamil Nadu can be tough sometimes, so being a collective helps us stay organized. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we handle the paperwork and meet up to talk about the crops. If you come by Dindigul and head towards Reddiyapatti, you’ll see where we work. It’s a quiet spot, really. We spend most of our days dealing with the daily tasks that come with running a producer company. It isn't like those big city offices you see on TV. There’s dust on the shelves and the fan makes a bit of noise, but it gets the job done for the farmers here. We focus on what’s happening right in our own fields. Living and working in the same village means everyone knows everyone else. We just try to keep things moving forward one day at a time without making a big fuss about it.
