Nanbargal Collective Farming Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are located over at 1/188C Sakthi Nagar, right near the Pambalamman temple in Keela Panjapatty. Most people around here know the spot because it’s a quiet corner but the temple brings some life to the street. Our group, Nanbargal Collective Farming Farmer Producer Company Limited, started because a few of us friends wanted to handle things ourselves instead of going through big middle players. The name Nanbargal actually means friends, which is how we see each other. We spend most of our mornings out in the fields and then head back to the Sakthi Nagar address to sort out the paperwork and talk about what crops are looking good this season. It isn’t a fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just a room where we keep our records and meet up to discuss seed prices or the rain. Some days it gets really dusty when the wind picks up across Keela Panjapatty, but we just keep working. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. We’re just local farmers trying to make a living and helping each other out so we can get better prices for what we grow. You’ll usually find someone there by the temple side if you drop in during the day. We deal with whatever the season gives us, whether it is good or tough, and we just keep moving forward one day at a time together. It’s a simple life.
