Gurupandian Integrated Agro Farms Private Limited is based in the village of Maravarpatti. Our address is 1/27B, and it is a very simple rural setup. We do integrated farming, which basically means we do not just stick to one thing. We have different crops and maybe some animals all working together on the land. It is a very traditional way of doing things, but we have made it into a private limited company to handle the business side better. The office is just a part of the farm buildings where we keep the books and take phone calls. You will not find any corporate polish here. We are usually wearing work clothes and have dirt on our boots because that is the nature of the job. Maravarpatti is a quiet place where life follows the seasons. When it rains, we are busy planting, and when it is dry, we are looking after the irrigation. We do not have a big marketing budget or a team of experts. We just rely on what we know about the soil and the weather in this part of the country. People around here know us as the folks at 1/27B. We just keep to ourselves and focus on making the farm productive. It is hard work, and the days are long, but it is what we know how to do best.
