North Dinajpur Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are a group of farmers here in North Dinajpur. Most of our work happens around Alipur, specifically near the Nandajhar area. Our main spot is at Tapan Baroi’s place. It isn't a big glass building or anything like that. It is just where we gather to talk about the crops and the season. Farming in this part of Nanda can be tough depending on the rain. We decided to get together as a producer company so we could help each other with things like buying seeds or finding better ways to sell what we grow. It is mostly local faces you will see here. We spend our days out in the fields and then meet up when the sun goes down to figure out the paperwork side of things. It gets a bit complicated sometimes with all the rules, but we manage. We aren't experts in business talk, just people who know the soil. If you are looking for us, you have to find the right path in Alipur. It is a quiet place usually, except when the harvest is coming in. Then everyone is busy and there is a lot of shouting and moving bags around. We just try to keep things moving so everyone gets a fair deal for their labor. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours. That’s just how life is for us here in North Dinajpur.
