Hiranpur Hariyali Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our small group is located in Dangapara village. You can find us through Niranjan Goray, who helps us manage the space. Hiranpur is the area we cover, and Hariyali means green, which is what we want to see in our fields. We are a group of farmers who decided that working alone wasn't working out so well anymore. So, we started this producer company. It’s a simple setup. We don't have fancy furniture or computers for everyone. Mostly, it’s just notebooks and a lot of talking. We discuss which seeds are working and which ones aren't. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when it should, and those are the hard days. We share the burden of that. Being in Dangapara, we are quite far from the big markets, so we try to coordinate our transport together. It saves us a bit of money and time. We don't talk like businessmen because we aren't. We are people who work the land. We know the smell of the earth after it rains and the heat of the sun in the afternoon. Our company is just a way for us to stick together. We don't make big claims about being the best. We just do the work. If you come by, you’ll likely find us sitting under a tree or in the small office area, just figuring out the next steps for the harvest. It is a slow life, but it belongs to us.
