Jamadarhat Farmers Producer Company Limited is located at Minir Uddin Zaman’s place in Puran Porowa. We are near Chirakuti and the Fakirganj area. It is a busy spot, and there is always something going on with the farms around here. We are a group of local growers who decided to join up. It’s not like those big companies you see in the news. We are just people from the village who know how to grow crops. The office is just a room in the house where we keep our books. Most of our day is spent outside anyway. We talk a lot about the river and the soil because that is what matters to us. Sometimes the market prices are frustrating, and we spend hours trying to figure out the best time to sell our harvest. It’s not always a smooth process, and we have plenty of long days where things don't go as planned. But we are all in it together. We don't have a mission statement or any of that. We just want to grow our crops, support our families, and keep the community going. If you come by Puran Porowa, you’ll see us working in the fields or chatting by the road. It is just a normal, everyday life for us farmers here. We hope the coming season is a kind one.
