Our place is in Birnagar, which is part of Goal Pukur. We are located at J.L. No-150. The office for Kulik Farmer Producer Company Limited is at the house of Rabindra Nath Roy’s wife. It’s a local thing for the farmers here in the Raiganj area of Uttar Dinajpur. The pin code is 733134. We don't have a fancy corporate office. It’s just a room where we keep our khotian records and the paperwork for the company. We are a producer company, so it belongs to the farmers who are part of it. Most of our time is spent out on the land or talking to the other members about the crops. We don't use any marketing words or polished English. We just talk like normal people. It’s not a big operation with lots of employees. It’s just us doing the work ourselves. Sometimes the government paperwork is a bit of a headache, but we manage to get it done. We’ve lived in Birnagar for a long time, so we know all the families around here. We aren't trying to be some huge business. We just want to make sure the local farmers can get their work done and get a fair price. It’s hard work, especially when the seasons are tough. But we’ve got our roots here and we aren't going anywhere. We just do our best every day.
