Zh Telecom

Our little shop, Zh Telecom, is located in the Kalkaji Bh Camp area at B 306. It’s a very busy part of Kalkaji, and there’s always something going on right outside our door. The shop itself is quite small, just enough room for the counter and a couple of stools. We deal with all sorts of mobile things, from simple recharges to fixing cracked screens. It’s often quite dusty because of all the construction and traffic nearby, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass. We don’t have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just want to make sure the people who come in get what they need so they can go about their day. Some days we have a lot of repairs to finish and we stay late with a small desk lamp on. We’ve got a lot of spare parts tucked away in boxes under the counter. It’s not a fancy setup, but it works for us and the people in the camp. We know the local rhythms here, like when the market gets busy and when it’s time to close up. We don't do any advertising; word of mouth is usually how people find us. We’ve been at this spot for a while and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. It’s just a regular, hardworking shop trying to be useful to the people in Kalkaji.
