Intact Line

You can find us up on the second floor at 1751 in Bhagirath Palace. Getting up here can be a bit of a climb, especially when the stairs are crowded with people carrying boxes and bundles of wire. This building is always buzzing with energy, and we are right in the middle of it. Our shop, Intact Line, isn't very large, but we pack it full of whatever we’re working on. Most days are spent sorting through inventory or talking to customers who come in looking for specific parts. It’s dusty work sometimes. The light coming through the small windows isn't great, so we rely on the overhead tubes to see what we’re doing. We’ve been in this spot for a while, seeing shops around us change owners while we just keep doing our thing. There’s no air conditioning in the hallways, so summers get pretty hot and sticky. We usually have a fan going near the desk to keep the air moving. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby stall while we keep an eye on the door. It’s not a corporate office with fancy chairs. We use old stools and wooden tables that have been here since we started. People come in with all sorts of questions, and we try to give them a straight answer without any fuss. It’s just how we do things here. We just focus on the boxes in front of us.
