Khan Market is a bit different from other places in the city, but our shop at number 61 is just a regular spot for people to get their tech sorted. We have been in this little corner for a while. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be very organized with where we put the cables, adapters, and phones. It is mostly about helping people get their connections working or fixing a phone that took a spill. We see all kinds of people here, from folks living nearby to those who work in the big offices around the area. The air conditioning is always humming because it gets stuffy with all the electronics running. We spend a lot of time on our feet, going back and forth between the counter and the storage shelf. It's not a place for sitting around much. Sometimes we are busy with repairs for hours, and other times it is just people asking for a new SIM card or a charging wire. We try to keep things simple and just answer the questions people have without making it complicated. The rent in this area is high, so every inch of the shop has to be used for something useful. We have a small stool in the back for breaks, but mostly we are just out front. It is a steady pace of work. We don't have any big signs or fancy decorations, just the stuff people actually need for their phones.
