Yogesh Tent House

We are over in Ganesh Nagar Tilak Nagar at C-122. This is a residential area mostly, so things are a bit quieter until someone has a wedding or a big prayer meeting. Then it gets really busy for us. Our storage space is full of bamboo poles, folded-up tents, and stacks of those heavy metal chairs that everyone uses. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading the small trucks that take the stuff to different houses in the neighborhood. It is heavy work, especially when it is raining or the sun is beating down on the street. Sometimes the fabric gets a bit dusty or needs a quick stitch, so we have someone on the machine fixing things up before they go out again. We do not do much advertising; people just know we are here because they see the sign when they walk to the market. My family has been doing this for a long time. It is not just about the tents, it is about making sure people have enough space to sit and eat together. We have some old lighting equipment too, which we have to check every few days to make sure the bulbs still work. It is a simple life, mostly moving things from one place to another and making sure nothing gets lost in the middle of a big party.
