Madan Tent & Decorators

Madan Tent & Decorators is located in Rohini Sector 2 at number 7. If you ever walk past our storage area, you’ll see huge piles of bamboo poles and massive bundles of folded fabric in every color imaginable. We’ve been handling weddings and local parties in this part of Rohini for many years. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and late nights, especially during the peak wedding season in the winter. My workers and I are often out at three in the morning, loading trucks or setting up a stage in the cold. The fabric gets dusty from being outside, so we spend a lot of our downtime washing and drying the long drapes in the sun. We don't have a fancy showroom. Usually, people just come to the gate and we show them some printed photos of setups we did for other neighbors. Most of the families in Sector 2 know us by now. We’ve done everything from small birthday parties in a park to big elaborate weddings. It’s a tough way to make a living because things are always breaking or getting lost, but we enjoy being part of the local celebrations. The work is very physical and we are usually pretty tired by the end of the day. We don't use any fancy advertising. If we do a decent job on a tent, the neighbors notice and call us for their next event.
