New Bedi Tent House

You can find New Bedi Tent House at S-41 in the Jangpura Shiv Market. This place is usually a bit of a mess because of all the fabric, poles, and carpets we have to move around. Doing tents is a heavy job, and our staff is always loading or unloading something from the back of a truck. Shiv Market is a tight spot, so parking is always a headache for us. We’ve been at S-41 for years, and the neighbors are all used to us dragging out big rolls of colorful cloth onto the pavement. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning; we just have a desk and a couple of chairs where we talk to families about their functions. It’s a lot of physical labor, and by the end of a wedding season, we’re all pretty tired. But it’s what we do. We don't use any fancy brochures or marketing tricks. People just know where we are in Jangpura and they come to us when they need a setup. The shop is small, but it holds everything we need to get the job done. Sometimes the rain messes with our schedules, and we have to scramble to keep the fabric dry, but that's just part of the tent business. We stay at S-41 and just keep working through the seasons, year after year, helping people set up their events.
