Sindhi Hira Nand

Our shop is tucked away in Karol Bagh at Shop No. 5. Sindhi Hira Nand has been sitting here for decades, and honestly, the place hasn't changed much in all that time. The shelves are high and made of old wood that has seen better days. We don't have fancy lights or a big glass storefront, just a simple door that stays open all day. Karol Bagh is a busy market, but Shop No. 5 feels a bit more quiet than the main roads. We deal with customers who have been coming to us since they were children, and now they bring their own kids. It is a lot of standing around and talking to people about what they need. Some days are slow and we just sit on the wooden stools and watch the people walk past. Other days, it is so busy we don't even have time to eat our lunch until four in the afternoon. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit and makes a clicking sound, but it keeps the air moving. We keep everything organized in a way that only we understand, so if you ask for something specific, we know exactly which corner to look in. Dealing with the heat in May is probably the hardest part of being here. We aren't trying to be anything special, we just keep the shop running like it always has been. It is just a small family-run spot where we do our daily business and go home.
